Legal
These terms set out the rules for using your Tupay account, moving money and converting between fiat currencies and stablecoins — and plainly describe what Tupay does and what its infrastructure partner Bridge does.
Last updated October 2026
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the accounts, payment services and digital asset conversion services provided by Tupay.space ("Tupay", "we", "us").
By opening an account or using any part of the service you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. Accounts opened on behalf of a company must be registered by an authorised representative of that company.
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and to keep it up to date. We may refuse, suspend or close an account where information cannot be verified.
Tupay is not a bank and does not hold a banking licence. The financial infrastructure behind the service — including the movement of funds, custody arrangements and fiat-to-stablecoin conversion — is provided by our third-party infrastructure partner Bridge (or its partners), with whom Tupay has contracted to deliver these services to you.
Identity verification and KYC/AML screening are performed through our infrastructure partner Bridge. By using the service you agree that your verification data will be processed by Bridge for that purpose, and you may additionally be subject to Bridge's own terms and policies where applicable.
We disclose the role of Bridge plainly on our website. Where any part of the service depends on infrastructure provided by Bridge or another third party, the availability, execution and settlement of that part of the service are the responsibility of that provider, and Tupay acts as the interface through which you access it.
Personal and Corporate accounts carry different transaction limits. Limits shown in your dashboard are indicative and may be adjusted following compliance review or a change in your verification tier.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, authenticator device and recovery codes secure. Any instruction authenticated with your credentials is treated as authorised by you.
Deposits are credited once the incoming funds have settled and any compliance checks have been completed. Instructions submitted to the network or to a correspondent bank cannot be recalled by us.
Fiat-to-stablecoin conversions are executed at the rate shown at the time of confirmation. Quoted rates are indicative until the conversion is confirmed.
Applicable fees are disclosed in the fee schedule and in the confirmation screen of each transaction before you authorise it. We may revise fees with notice published in the application.
You are responsible for any taxes arising from your use of the service.
You may not use the service to launder money, finance terrorism, evade sanctions, commit fraud, or transact in connection with illegal goods or services.
You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, interfere with its operation, or use it in a way that breaches applicable law or the rights of others.
We may suspend or close your account where required by law, where we are instructed by a competent authority, where our infrastructure partner suspends the underlying service, or where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
You may close your account at any time. Closing an account does not affect obligations incurred before closure, including any outstanding verification requirements.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tupay is not liable for acts, omissions, delays or failures of third-party infrastructure providers, including our partner Bridge, correspondent banks, blockchain networks, payment networks or hosting providers; for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control; or for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data or lost opportunities.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited, to the maximum extent permitted by law, to the fees you actually paid to Tupay for the transaction from which the claim arises. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tupay is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
Before starting proceedings, we ask you to first contact us through the Support section of your dashboard so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
